I picked up two 3 1/8 instruments on the VAF forums. Go them for a fairly good deal, but made the mistake of not telling the seller how to ship it. It went UPS and I got hammered for brokerage fees.
Anyway, I now have a UMA airspeed indicator with the MPH on the outer scale and the Kts on the inner scale, would have preferred it the other way around, but oh well. The speeds are already marked for the RV-8.
The altimeter is a 3 1/8 Falcon altitude indicator rated to 20,000 ft.
These will be my standby instruments as I will be installing Dynon EFIS. Just not decided which one yet, and by the time I get there, Dynon may have something a lot nicer.
